MK Granados, MBA
My background spans live production, large-scale events, sponsorship strategy, and commercial innovation across both B2B and B2C environments.
I began my career in theater and live production, working in production management at the Tony Award–winning Williamstown Theatre Festival and later within the Sports & Entertainment division at Mohegan Sun. Those roles shaped a practical understanding of logistics, timing, and execution across concurrent venues and teams.
From there, my work moved into sponsorship development and sales enablement within major event organizations, including RX Global and ReedPop. During this time, I supported commercial strategy and product development for events such as New York Comic Con and PAX, contributing to the expansion of sponsorship and media offerings.
I later joined Gartner as Experiential Marketing Manager, where I worked on global B2B event strategy with a focus on executive audiences, product demonstrations, and content-driven engagement.
Alongside my professional work, I earned my MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. During that period, I also co-founded Gen City Labs, an experiential technology company focused on interactive brand engagement across events, festivals, pop-ups, briefing centers, and retail environments.
I currently serve as Director of Revenue Optimization at Informa Markets North America, working across a broad portfolio of B2B trade shows to support sponsorship innovation, revenue optimization, and sales excellence.
I’ve spoken at industry events including SISO, MIC, Advertising Week, XLive, Toy Fair, and The Event Planner Expo. My insights have been featured in outlets such as BizBash, Trade Show Executive, and the Trade Show Insights podcast.
